It looks like Digital Playground has been forced to use the HD DVD format. After announcing it would be putting it’s next gen high definition DVD’s like Pirates and Island Fever 4 on Sony’s HD format dubbed ‘Blu-Ray’, they have been told that Sony does not support porn, and therefore nobody will copy the titles. The head honcho of Digital Playground has recently told German Magazine Heise “Sony wants me to publish my films on HD DVD.”
This means no PS3 or Sony HD DVD players if you want to watch your HD porn movies in all their glory. Cheaper, too!
